2. Quality Assurance Development

CETB is committed to developing its new integrated Quality Assurance policies and procedures in line with its strategic goals and priorities as outlined in its Statement of Strategy.  CETB’s Statement of Strategy is built around four core themes and pillars:


Our Learners -           Our aim is to provide a high quality learning experience for every learner.

Our People -              Our aim is to recruit, engage and develop high quality professionals across all our services.

Our Services -           Our aim is to deliver high quality, appropriate and relevant education and training programmes in                                     a variety of environments and settings across primary, post primary, further education and                                     training where high quality teaching and learning are at the centre of all activities, with a focus on                                     access, transfer and progression.

Our Organisation -    Our aim is to enhance the profile of the organisation through the delivery of effective and efficient                                     services to support our education and training provision.

The development of a comprehensive suite of integrated quality assurance policies and procedures for the amalgamated ETB will be an ongoing project; as new common policies and procedures are developed and approved by the appropriate governance structure, they will be published on this site, and will supersede the existing legacy policies and procedures which are currently operating and available in each centre.
